Former factory Honda racer Steve Hengeveld talks about his stint aboard the Monster Energy/Blue C Communications/Wahoo's Fish Taco Kawasaki KX450F at the 42nd Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. Hengeveld rode the anchor leg, arriving back to Ensenada in the dark, and helped the team earn a runner-up finish among the motorcycles in its racing debut.
Andy McMillin and father Scott won the 42nd Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, leading the top five Trophy Trucks across the finish line, leading Roger Norman in second, Rick D. Johnson in third, Gustavo Vildosola in fourth and Robby Gordon in fifth (though he crossed fourth).

Legendary off-road racer Ivan "Ironman" Stewart was down at the Baja 1000, and though he won't be tackling the race ironman-style as he has in the past, he will be getting behind the wheel of a racetruck this weekend. Stewart, who has had a long-standing relationship with Toyota, will be co-driving with a Toyota Proving Grounds driver to get a near-stock 2005 Toyota 4Runner to the finish line.

The top 2 pros completed the 10 mile lap in right around 20 minutes, so you are only seeing a portion of the track. Once again went through town and through people's back yards and shops. The entire course was extremely whooped out.
