The easiest way to check on your bent front bumper during the race is by performing a head stand in front of the quad. I've perfected the technique.
This was the result of hitting a log in the wrong way in the WORCS X-Cross section at Speedworld round 1. It actually was a fairly tough section. Normally the sections look really hard and end up not being bad, but this was the opposite. Not many were worried about it, but it ended up being gnarly!

Out of the 500 riders who started at 12:00am, only 21 brave athletes made it to the finish within the four hours race time.

It is with great sadness that we report...our beloved Jeremy Lusk passed away at approximately 11:03 PM PST 2/9/2009 due to complications from the crash sustained Saturday evening in Costa Rica. Still in the Calderon Hospital Intensive Care Unit, he was surrounded by his loving Mother and Father, Chuck and Gina Lusk, his wonderful wife Lauren, his Mother and Father-in-Law Lynne and Larry and many of his closest Mulisha family members including Brian Deegan, Ryan Hagy, Cameron Steele
and Erik Apple.
W.E. Rock kicked off the season this past weekend in Tucson, Arizona. Craig Thompson recieves a bit of assistance from his spotter during one of this runs.
