We Don't Do Arts and Crafts
We are Boy Scout Venture Crew 35, based out of Springfield, Massachusetts. We've always done the crazy outlandish projects. In 2006 we rode bicycles a thousand miles from Michigan to Massachusetts. After completing that journey, we had no idea where to go to top it. Until one of our older members said "let's build a desert race truck."
That's how it started. We now have a Stock Mini/7300 class Ford Ranger which we are building to race in the thousand mile 2009 Vegas to Reno ("The Long Way"). We've had to overcome some tough obstacles and fund raise like never before, but we are quickly closing in on our goal of being the first ever off road racing Venture Crew.
