Vegas to Reno - Ready For Adventure

In what is being dubbed as “the longest off-road race in the United States,” Best in the Desert’s Vegas to Reno The Long Way! race is kicking off next week from August 19-22. The race will run close to 1000 miles over three days, and unlike many desert races there is absolutely no pre-running for the event. The race has drawn a number of big names in the sport, and at last count, there were nearly 300 racers entered into the event.

I will be out there for the race next week, camping along the race route and posting updates when and where possible. This will be a unique event for sure, as the race will span three days (officially starting the morning of August 20 and finishing up on Saturday, August 22) and covering over 300 miles each day. While I’ll post updates on Off-Road.com, I’ll also be tweeting from our Twitter account at www.twitter.com/OffRoadDotCom. If you haven’t signed up to follow us on Twitter, now’s a good time. I'll also be out testing with Ford in the new SVT Raptor F150 next week, so keep your eyes peeled for that as well.
