DATS Racing September News

Robbie MitchellSt. George, UT; 09/29/09-DATS Racing made the trip to Southern California this past weekend, to take on Round #7 of the 2009 WORCS Racing ATV series.  Robbie Mitchell & Johnny Shafe of DATS Racing’s Pro team were ready to go and Glen Helen was just the place to let go towards the seasons end.  With one more round to go, Glen Helen, located just outside of Los Angeles would mark the last California round before the team will head home next month for the finals in Mesquite, Nv. DATS Racing in normal professional fashion helped propel their boys into the top ten with a respectable 7th for Shafe & 8th for Mitchell.

“WOW- This felt good to get in the top ten and especially with both of our guys.  It’s been a long year with injuries and a few mishaps, so I am really happy for Johnny & Robbie as they look to finish out well here in the series. We all are looking forward to our home race next month in Mesquite and cap off the season with two more top rides.” Darin Snow- team manager of DATS Racing

John ShafeJohn Shafe“I had a great ride after what I dealt with. I cracked a case with a rock getting sucked into my chain on my A ride and had to compete on my back-up bike. I ended up doing really well. Just shows that the Kawasaki builds a great machine.” Johnny Shafe

DATS would like to thank all of their sponsors as they continue to show great support in their 2009 season efforts. Thanks again from everyone on the team.
